When the work layer is thin or the work layer contains large quantity precious metals. We produce rolls by centrifugal method with two or three different materials, the work layer is wearable and heat resistant while the core with good mechanical resistance.
There are two different casting method of centrifugal casting, horizontal and vertical cast. The main method produce centrifugal rolls is horizontal method, When the diameter length ratio is higher, we prefer to vertical casting method.
